Prudent Investment Management |

We start by using a prudent investment foundation. Our goal is to deliver institutional-grade investment practices and guidance to individual investors. Our approach is to build a prudent investment process around an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) that focuses on your investment objectives, your time frame and your comfort with risk. Depending upon your situation, we then customize your portfolio with a combination of individual stocks, bonds, mutual funds and exchange-trade funds (ETF’s) that best meets your needs. This philosophy is designed to help you achieve your long-term investment goals.
Our clients are typically conservative investors. With our strong expertise in income focused investing, we prefer a conservative approach but hope you recognize that some risks must be taken in order to meet your goals. Our strategy is to build a total portfolio that meets your income and inflation protection needs while minimizing risk and overall portfolio volatility. We do not leave your investments on auto-pilot and we are available to consult with you on a regular basis. Your investments will receive hands-on, experienced supervision.
In our business model, your interests come first. As an independent, fee-only, Registered Investment Advisor, we are only paid by you through our planning or investment management fees. We never receive commissions or have any hidden fees. As an independent firm, we are not pressed to sell any specific investment products for any company. Lastly, your money is managed on a continuous basis rather than as a one-time sale. This means we work to maintain your trust every day. Noyes Capital has a fiduciary duty to our clients - we are held to high ethical standards and must act in your best interest.
Developing sound judgment takes training and life experience. Scott’s investment management philosophy is based on real life experience from 27 years working on “Wall Street.” He has particularly strong expertise in fixed income products and interest rate analysis, learned during 19 years at Aubrey G. Lanston & Co., a primary dealer in US Treasury and Agency securities. When coupled with his academic training as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a University of Chicago MBA, his total experience is deeper and stronger than many advisors in the industry. Most importantly, this knowledge and experience has built a level of judgment that helps us make smarter and timelier decisions for our clients.
Our goal is to help you realize a comfortable income and support your lifetime financial goals.
